REVIEW

The good: Flat out delicious. Substantial. Healthy. Balanced. The jalapeño aioli could be bottled and sold as its own product. This burrito is the only thing we order at this restaurant that has so much more to offer. The Zagat review on their website is right on about the plant-based comfort food.

“Artful upscale dishes take vegan cuisine to its greatest potential, and can even impress a carnivore at chef-owner Makini Howell’s Capitol Hill bistro. With an airy atmosphere of chic sophistication and fine service, it’s the spot for a classy date.”

The bad: Let’s be honest. $17 for a burrito is expensive. But part of that is definitely the high-end plant-based food restaurant setting.
